(he has been uninvited because so many artists cancelled, fyi. that’s milo rau’s take, showing that 1) he still wanted peter thiel to come and 2) that there is power in boycott.) and fuck festwochen generally for their unaddressed sponsorship by HP, a company on the BDS list for providing an operating technology systemically used against palestinians.

the invitation and the sponsorship are things we learned about over the past few weeks and which honestly make us not want to list any events sponsored by festwochen. but they offer/ed opportunities for artists and communities - which have also been fucked over by the peter thiel invitation. and we don’t scan most events’ funding, so it’s not like we’re in on everything else going on either.

in this spirit, channel your rage, support artists, collectives, and venues in becoming independent in the ways you can, and don’t give any money to festwochen (they’re already getting our tax money :))!
