what to say. community will save us and is saving us and music at least serves for that. vienna feels a bit ghostly to me, the knowledge how small and disconnected a corner of our human reality this is seeping, finally, from my intellect to my intution over the last two years. it doesn’t feel more real than the pictures and stories and data from Gaza, like a facade. but of course, grass may and must be touched. I hope this newsletter offers some opportunity for this! <333

P.S. a heartbroken thought to all our favourite band from back in the days who are not even affording their (ex-)fans the solace of standing in solidarity, much less so affording Palestinians even a word of true support. I don’t even know how many of us would have visited their tour were it not for their refusal to at least get over their self-righteousness.

oh and i started a little visual system, tagging which events are fundraiser for a good cause (any), and events where at least I know the people stand with Palestine stronlgy in word and opinions. Both lists are still quite incomplete I reckon, and I don’t want to do political policing here, but maybe it’s still a start to something cute. let me know!!
