I knooooww!!! But you know (or probably don’t), in the last weeks my grandmother died (she was 98 so it’s kinda okay, but loss is loss), I had the first little heartbreak of the summer, and of course like any true lover of music and queer culture had to show up for Eurovision, just to name a few things. Still, I’m looking forward to hopefully someday shipping this product more regularly, I think it would also be good for my personal life to be a bit more structured. Also, at least you can’t complain I didn’t tell you about pride parties. (You absolutely could complain about me not giving you a good overview of said parties. But you could also shut up and just be happy the queers got pratersauna this time and that the Lärmletter crew is telling you were you can come and shake ass with them!!!) Also also, it was very nice and validating to get positive feedback about the newsletter – and the offer of support – in the wild, if you’re reading this you know who you are and I’ll still get back to you more comprehensively! And to everyone else, as always, don’t hesitate to get involved! You can also just take a little peek into our Signal group if you’re interested. No commitment needed…

I didn’t find time to browse schalltaucherin (who is finally back to publishing her WEEKLY newsletter as well and I’m so here for it, I think we have a very similar spirit about it) and klingt.org this time around, so check out those listings yourself will you?

Also, Wiener Festwochen have started, I’ve only listed things that are explicitly music-centered because time & effort, but be aware. Although I never know what to think of it as a whole… I feel like they are in this weird space where they try to come over as mildly revolutionary but truly aren’t. But idk, lots of good performances I figure. More importantly, Free Palestine tho.
